Testerup Weekly $250 Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. Organiser

This giveaway ("Payday Friday") is organised and administered by the Testerup app. For legal information about the organiser, please refer to our Impressum: https://www.testerup.com/imprint

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Apple, or Google.

2. Promotion Period

Each giveaway runs for one week. The exact start and end date of each draw are stated in the corresponding Instagram post caption. Entries submitted outside of the stated promotion period will not be eligible.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible to participate, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
  • Be a resident of one of the following regions: United Kingdom, United States of America, or Canada.
  • Have a valid Instagram account.
  • Have downloaded the Testerup app (free to download) and registered a Testerup account with a valid User ID by the end of the promotion period.

Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of aestimium GmbH are not eligible to participate. Participation is void where prohibited by law.

4. How to Enter

To enter the Promotion, you must complete all of the following steps during the active promotion period:

  1. Follow the official Testerup Instagram account.
  2. Tag a friend in the comments of the giveaway post (one tag per comment).
  3. Leave a comment on the giveaway post: If you were to win, how are you spending the money?
  4. Download the Testerup app (available free on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) and create an account to receive a valid User ID/already have a valid User ID.

No purchase is required. Downloading the Testerup app is free of charge. Multiple comments are permitted; however, each participant is limited to one (1) entry per giveaway. Tagging additional friends in separate comments does not constitute additional entries.

5. Winner Selection

One (1) winner will be selected per weekly draw. Winners are chosen at random using WASK Giveaway Tool, an independent tool that ensures a fair and random selection. The draw takes place after the promotion period closes, as stated in the Instagram post caption.

The result of the draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process.

6. Prize

The prize for each weekly draw is $250 (USD equivalent), awarded as in-app credit added directly to the winner's Testerup account ("Tap Up" credit). The prize is not paid as direct cash.

Prize conditions:

  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, substituted, or transferred to another person or account.
  • The credit can be withdrawn via PayPal through the standard Testerup payout process, subject to the Testerup platform terms and minimum payout thresholds.
  • The prize is not redeemable as cash directly; it must be processed through the Testerup platform payout flow.
  • Any applicable expiration date for the credit will be stated in the Instagram post caption for that draw.
  • The winner must have a registered Testerup account with a valid User ID to receive the prize. Prize claims without a valid User ID cannot be processed.
  • Each participant may win a maximum of one (1) time across all weekly draws.

7. Winner Notification & Claiming the Prize

The winner will be announced publicly on the Testerup Instagram account after the draw. The winner will also be contacted via Instagram direct message to the account used for entry.

The winner must respond within [3 days] of being notified and provide their Testerup User ID to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within this period, or if the prize cannot be awarded for reasons outside our control (e.g. inactive account, ineligibility), we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

8. Data Protection & Privacy

Any personal data collected in connection with this Promotion (such as your Instagram handle and Testerup User ID for prize fulfilment) will be processed solely for the purpose of administering this Promotion and awarding the prize.

Your data will not be used for marketing purposes, profiling, or newsletter subscriptions as a result of entering this Promotion. Any such communications require a separate, independent opt-in consent.

We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law (including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and CCPA where applicable). 9. General Conditions

  • We reserve the right to disqualify any participant found to be acting in bad faith, using automated tools, creating fake accounts, or otherwise circumventing the spirit of the Promotion.
  • We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Promotion at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
  • By entering the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. However, nothing in these Terms shall exclude, restrict, or limit any rights or remedies that participants may have under mandatory consumer protection or promotional laws applicable in their jurisdiction of residence.
  • If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
